Mike is a lifelong foodie and has always been searching for the best meal; amazing taste, filling, and highly nutritious. Finally, after tasting his wife’s burrito recipe, Mike knew he had found the solution… and his trusty mutt, Red, agreed, Mike likes his burritos big and all-natural; a meal, not a snack. We hope you do, too!
FRESH INGREDIENTS
Realizing that we had the best burrito recipe around was only the beginning; we then had to scour the country searching for the best all-natural and organic ingredients out there. We source the best antibiotic and hormone-free meat, as well as the highest quality veggies, beans and spices that exist and pile them on top of our one-of-a-kind tortillas, ultimately making the best damn burrito, period. Enjoy!
COOKING SUGGESTIONS
Whats Up Reds Heads? I’m Chris, Red’s official unofficial chef. I just wanted to throw out some reheating and serving suggestions for our Red’s Gourmet Burritos. Our purpose is to provide you with the highest quality, nutritionally sound ingredients, in abundant proportions to fuel your body, all while providing a kick-ass taste. That being said, what you do with your burritos once you take them home is up to you; but here are some great techniques that can enhance your Red’s experience. Microwave: For convenience, ease of use, cooking time and clean-up, sometimes there is no better option than the old standby: the microwave. From frozen: Remove the burrito from the packaging and place on a microwave safe plate. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, flip over and repeat until fully heated. (If the burrito has been thawed , it only needs to be heated for 90 seconds per side.) Let stand for at least 1 minute. Caution! Contents will be hot as heel and microwave times will vary. It doesn’t get much easier than that: from the freezer to your mouth in No time. For the best results, thaw your Red’s burrito before consumption; it opens up a world of possibilities. To thaw a burrito: place it in the refrigerator overnight or for a period of approximately 10 hours or microwave on high for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
