All of our products are produced in the USA, the majority of which are made in our Red’s facility in South Dakota.

Yes! We’ve found it’s the most effective and most natural way to lock in freshness and flavor without relying on artificial preservatives. We flash freeze our Red’s burritos and sandwiches immediately after we make them, using extremely cold, circulating air to freeze them quickly. (When food is frozen slowly, large ice crystals form in the food, drying it out and affecting the overall taste, flavor and freshness.) 

None of the Red’s burritos or breakfast sandwiches contain peanuts or tree nuts. They are made at our factory in South Dakota, which is a nut free facility.

We do not use artificial flavors, artificial colors or artificial preservatives in our burritos or breakfast sandwiches. All of our ingredients are clearly marked on our labels and are ones you can recognize and understand. You might even have them in your own kitchen!

The chicken, turkey, beef and pork ingredients we use are raised without antibiotics and are also nitrate-free.

The packaging for individual items is the most accurate and up-to-date source for allergen and ingredient information. At Red’s, we recognize the needs of our consumers who have allergies or sensitivities to specific ingredients, and we take every precaution to ensure that cross-contamination does not occur at any point in the production process. Our manufacturing facilities have the highest standards of cleanliness and follow documented and verified allergen handling policies. Several of Red’s breadless breakfast sandwiches are gluten-free. As defined by the FDA, gluten-free items contain less than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten. With all of our gluten-free items, we adhere to the FDA’s strict Allergen Cross-Contact Prevention guidelines to control incidents of cross-contamination. However, it is still critical that you refer to the ingredient list for each individual Red’s product to verify it’s suitable for you.

We offer a few vegetarian burritos including Huevos Rancheros, Organic Cheese Quesadilla and Organic Bean & Cheese.  We also offer two vegetarian burritos with plant-based protein — Plant-Based Sausage Egg & Cheese and Plant-Based Beef Bean & Cheese.

Currently Red’s does not offer any products that are vegan.

No. Red’s only uses non-GMO ingredients.* We’re so passionate about the issue that we participate in the Non-GMO Project, an independent verification group dedicated to best practices for GMO avoidance. Learn more about the Non-GMO Project here. 

*Our animal ingredients are non-GMO, but the food they eat may come from GMO grains.

The Non-GMO Project defines a GMO, or genetically modified organism, as “a plant, animal, microorganism or other organism whose genetic makeup has been modified in a laboratory using genetic engineering or transgenic technology. This creates combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and virus genes that do not occur in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods.”

Annatto is the seed or extract of the achiote tree, which is indigenous to Central and South America, Mexico and the Caribbean. We use Annatto in some of our recipes for its mild flavor and distinctive yellow-orange color.

Our namesake, Red, was a lovable retriever mix our founder, Mike, adopted from a shelter in 2009, before Red’s All Natural was born. Red helped make us who we are, and his authentic, playful spirit is still with us today. Learn more about our story here.

We recently updated our carton packaging and they are now recyclable, as verified by the Paperboard Packaging Council. We’re excited about this progress and are continually working to make the rest of our packaging more recyclable and sustainable!
